Matches and fuel costs

A request stemming from the committee meeting 23/04/09.

Could everyone who car shares who has a lift please remember to contribute toward fuel costs if you can afford to.

Running a car isn't cheap, wear and tear, maintenance, fuel costs aren't cheap even for local matches and much higher for longer distance fixtures.

393 match games played this Winter season. Approximately 30 Away matches. Many miles are covered during a season.

Club Members Noticeboard

Club subscriptions  are now due mid Summer and prompt payment prior to 01 Sept 2012 is  greatly appreciated as this will facilitate league registration.   All payments before this date are discounted in addition to new member 50% discount. Club Subscriptions for 2012/13 have had to rise slightly due to an increase in room rent but new ECF bronze membership is included..

Late registrations are commonplace though and membership renewal and recruitment is continual throughout the year.

Note: Could all members tell their team captains of their availability for forthcoming matches. This will help captains to fill a place if a player's absent and thus decrease the liklihood of defaulting boards and rescheduling.
