Bidgood Cups for the 2nd
consecutive year. Robert
Marshall retains the Rock
Cup after beating Mike
Groombridge of Walsall
Kipping in the final. Dave
Wightman beats Peter Nixon
also of Walsall Kipping.
Both matches took place
Tues 26th March at Mercia
Chess Club (neutral venue)

Wolverhampton won the WDCL
Humphrey's Cup, became DDCL Div 2
Champions. Dave Wightman also
became joint winner of the WDCL
Rock Cup and won the Cannock
League Robert Ward Memorial Trophy
