The team were battling from the start, having gone 1-0 down as a result of Max defaulting board 2. Matters were made worse when Jeff found himself on the losing end of a game comprising of quick exchanges, and was unable to find anything in the endgame. I managed to win the white side of a Sicilian Dragon, and Paul played steadily, with some winning chances, against Mike Savin's Alekhine defense to achieve a draw.
